Committee meetings underway

On Monday morning, committee members made their way through six inches of freshly fallen snow to arrive at the BWA Center in Falls Church, Virginia, for the start of the BWA Executive Committee meetings.

While it was cold outside, the fellowship inside the BWA Center was warm as Baptists from around the world greeted old and new friends.

The day began with worship led by Gary Nelson, General Secretary of Canadian Baptist Ministries; Carol Causey of the Woman's Missionary Union in the USA; Brickson Sam of the Baptist Convention of Sierra Leone; and Regina Claas, General Secretary of the Union of Evangelical Free Churches in Germany.

Committees meeting on Monday include the Youth Executive Committee, the Constitution and Bylaws Committee, the Personnel Committee, the Men's Department Executive Committee, the Women's Department Administrative Committee, the Study and Research Division Executive Committee, and the Congress Program Committee.
